Answer: No. It would be appreciated to show-up a few minutes early to your first class so we can get you checked in but we never require you to be on-time for class. We understand that life can be very demanding and if you can make it late to class or need to leave early, we will accommodate you.
Question: Will I be required to spar (roll) or compete?
Answer: No. Sparring is the open engagement of you and another member to tryout the techniques we demonstrate. It provides dynamic resistance and quicker movements to test your proficiency and highlight areas of improvement in your jiu jitsu art. We understand this may be overwhelming for some people and you are never required to spar or compete.
Question: Will I get injured?
Answer: We monitor all activities to make our gym a safe place to train. We don't tolerate aggression, profanity, or bad tempers. However, this is a close-contact activity and accidents can happen. We ask that you don't wear jewelry, cut your finger nails and toe nails, and be considerate of other members.
